Kitchen designer Christine Shorr, CKBD has been designing kitchens since 2003, and came to kitchen design by way of fine arts. She earned a BA in both Studio Art and Art History from Drew University, then worked as the Director of Education at a non-profit Art Center. After Christine and her husband remodeled a historic home in Petersburg, VA, she discovered her passion for residential design and made the career switch to kitchen design.
Christine earned her AKBD in 2008, and joined Morris Black Designs in 2010, specializing in kitchens, baths and other spaces for new construction. In 2021, she earned her CKBD. Her love of home renovation and the arts is a perfect combination for her career as a Kitchen Designer.
