That joy was fully realized during a recent Kitchen Warming Event we held at the beautiful Lehigh Valley home of the Bub family — a lovely, lively household with active schedules and a deep love for entertaining.
The event was a refined but child-friendly gathering, where the Bub family invited their closest friends to be part of the big reveal of their newly designed kitchen. The party was a celebration of fresh beginnings in a space that was thoughtfully created for everyday living and extraordinary memories alike. To complement the occasion, the talented team at Feast Catering provided a stunning array of colorful, delicious dishes that filled the home with warmth, flavor, and conversation.
The Bubs are a bustling family of five — parents Kira and Richard, who balance their busy lives with grace, and three daughters who bring energy, joy, and curiosity to every corner of their home. As passionate hosts to their extended family and friends, the design of the kitchen was especially important. They needed a space that was not only beautiful, but intuitively functional.
Among their favorite features of the design are clever and creative storage solutions that keep their active household organized and clutter-free. A substantial kitchen island sits at the heart of the room, serving as both a central gathering space and a practical work surface for food prep, school projects, and celebrations. With open sight lines and a gracious flow, the kitchen invites movement and togetherness — perfect for a family that loves to share both meals and laughter.
One of the most charming elements of this project is its connection to the Bub family history with Morris Black Designs. When they purchased their home — built in the 1990s — it came with a kitchen originally designed and installed by Morris Black Designs. Decades later, those cabinets had stood the test of time so beautifully that the family chose to repurpose them for additional storage elsewhere in the home. We take great pride in creating timeless work, and this lasting quality speaks volumes about our commitment to craftsmanship and longevity.
