| At nearly 700 square feet, this Traditional kitchen has room for the homeowners and their extended family. The room includes a table that seats 12 and a window seat to enjoy the park-like views. The Heritage cabinetry was made from Lyptus wood with a Copper finish. Lyptus wood is an exotic hardwood that is grown to sustainable forest certification standards: it can be harvested within 14 to 16 years after planting. The designer created a 15-foot, bi-level island, topped with granite and accented by reeded turned post legs. The island contains a prep sink, warming drawer, mixer lift, drawer refrigerator, specialized storage cabinets and a lower height opposite the range. The 48" Viking range is topped by a custom copper and wood hood and has pull-out can storage on each side. A built-in Viking refrigerator and freezer complete the wall. The custom hutch was designed to match and hold serving dishes and linens. The family room, visible through the arch, also contains Lyptus columns and cabinetry flanking both sides of the fireplace. . |
