Bi-level island opposite the sink allows guests to watch food prep
The chef's corner, with Viking range abd double wall ovens
Traditional Cherry Kitchen
Morris Black created this majestic space for a professionally-trained chef who entertains large groups often by annexing a little-used den. The chef wanted her Viking range located away from traffic, but open to conversation. The designer gave her a prep island steps away from the bulit-in refrigerator and double wall ovens.

The cherry cabinets are from Heritage, and include deep crown molding and a custom hood. Countertops are a combination of granite and Corian, as shown on the bi-level eat-in island. Notice the matching china closet with leaded glass shown on the left in the photo above. Hidden refrigerator drawers and wine storage are located near the island, so guests can help themselves to beverages without disturbing the chef.
