Richard, known to us as “Smitty”, has worked in all aspects of the wood industry, giving him a deep understanding of the business of cabinetry. After serving in the US Army, he became a carpenter in 1975, and worked at a lumber yard as the Mill Manager, in purchasing, and in sales and management. For 14 years he designed and installed kitchens and baths in NE PA and NJ, before joining Morris Black as a kitchen designer specializing in new construction.
