Oscar Acevedo comes by his design and technical skills naturally, as the product of three generations of contractors and a tour of duty in the Army Engineers. He began his kitchen design career in Pittsburgh, where he served as VP of Education for the local chapter of the NKBA and won three Merit Awards. He earned his CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) designation in 1991. His career path has taken him through Pittsburgh, Lancaster, Cleveland, and luckily for us, to the Lehigh Valley where he joined Morris Black in 2001.
When the architect Louis Sullivan stated “Form follows function”, he could have been speaking about Oscar. “It can look good, but if it doesn’t work, my client won’t be happy. My goal is not to fulfill your expectations, but to exceed them”.
