The clients wanted to change this builder-grade white kitchen to allow room for a commercial-style range as the focal point, with snack area for three and cabinets to the ceiling.
The designer recessed the refrigerator into the former pantry, and removed the soffits to gain added height for the wall cabinets. The cabinetry on the perimeter is Cherry, the island is maple painted white, with granite countertops throughout.
The stainless steel range and its custom wood hood are now the center of attention.
