Arts and Crafts Kitchen

Before:

Before was dark, dingy and depressing. This north-facing kitchen, with its pine cabinets stained walnut and brown mosaic vinyl floor was not inspiring the restaurant-trained cook who lived here. The refrigerator nearly blocking the doorway and the soffit with its spindle fence had to go.

The solution was elegant, architectural and efficient. The cabinetry is Cherry with a Harvest Gold stain in two door styles. Without the soffit, the wall cabinets extended to the ceiling. The refrigerator was replaced by a countertop depth fridge with panels to match. Costa Esmeralda granite countertops were extended into the eat-in area for a seamless and expansive look. New flooring and new lighting completed the transformation.
