This early 80’s kitchen and eat-in area needed updating. By moving the tall storage to the wall opposite the sink, a wide open design was created.
The designer moved the cooktop to an angled cabinet that gave the chef more space to work and a view of the backyard. The Giallo Ornamentale granite top near the cooktop was designed with an extended overhang for countertop-depth seating. The dishwasher was angled into a corner beneath the dish storage. Double wall ovens and the refrigerator are on the wall opposite the sink.
Removal of the soffit allowed for installation of taller maple cabinets in Cider finish with a Mocha Glaze.
