The color experts at Pantone have announced their Color of the Year: Marsala. Like the robust wine that shares its name, Marsala is a hearty, yet stylish red tone, a universally appealing shade that the Pantone Color Institute predicts will translate easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.
Interestingly, the Benjamin Moore Paint Company also announced their Color of the Year: Guilford Green… so we put them together and kinda liked the result.
Yes, this is the kind of news that makes our Designers sit up and take notice. Not into design to this degree? Not to worry. When it comes to designing your space, our designers can take the lead and steer you to a color or cabinetry that compliments your own personal style. We’ve designed kitchens based on colbalt blue, faded denim and to match the amber in an heirloom lamp. As your nod to the Color of the Year, you can always enjoy a glass of Marsala in your new Morris Black kitchen… whatever it’s color.
