Dan was chosen from among the more than 500,000 active home building, remodeling and design industry professionals that comprise the Houzz community. Customer Satisfaction honors are determined by a variety of factors, including the number and quality of client reviews a professional received in 2014.
Dan joined Morris Black in 1985, and earned his CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) in 1990. That same year, he was named Honorable Mention in a NKBA contest, and since then has won design from NKBA, Lehigh Valley Builders Association, and from cabinetry manufacturers Heritage Custom Cabinetry and Yorktowne. In addition, he has served as a judge for NKBA design contests and has had his work published in Women’s Day, House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping, Kitchen and Bath Design News, and other remodeling publications.
“We’re delighted to recognize Dan among our “Best Of” professionals as judged by our community of homeowners and design enthusiasts who are actively remodeling and decorating their homes” said Liza Hausman, vice president of industry marketing for Houzz.
“Congratulations to Dan,” added Bob Black, vice-president of Morris Black Designs, “although we are not surprised, as Dan’s customers are always happy with his designs and constitute more of a Fan Club than simply satisfied past customers. We are proud to give Dan the opportunity to grow creatively.”
